    PLANET9 League Feature Available Now

Hi everyone, it's Harry again, person in charge for PLANET9's tournament function! People have been asking for a more comprehensive tournament system, and now I'm here to deliver some good news on that. Get ready for the brand new PLANET9 Tournament League feature!

(Tournament League only available for partners during trial period, please contact us here to learn more: service@planet9.gg)

Our previous tournament function is pretty sufficient for small-mid tier tournament needs, but when you have multiple qualifiers for a large tournament, things get a bit troublesome since you'll have to manually re-create a tournament for the main event, then input the participant data again. Worry not though, I'm here to explain how we simplified and integrated the process and tournament structure.
Now we let partnered PLANET9 Clubs to choose their tournament structure.

You can now see the Bracket Settings section on the left on the tournament setup page while the rest remain unchanged.

Breaking down the Bracket Structure settings, we can interpret it like this:

Using this tournament structure for example, we currently support Single/Double Elimination and Round-Robin.

Once you've completed your Bracket Settings, the rest of the settings are the same, you just need to fill in the number of teams/participants you'll allow to advance. And as usual, remember to save at each setting stage!

Then, your tournament is basically all set!

The tournament system will automatically label the advanced participants for you at the second stage, which is both convenient and keeps the flexibility for tournament organizers.(When the first stage of the tournament is completed, remember to import the list of advanced participants at second the stage's settings)

There you have it, your multi-bracket tournament is all set and ready to launch. Contact us now to become our partner and try this exciting new feature!

The Racing tournament structure for our multi-bracket is expected to launch in April, see you again by then!

Ride or Die! PLANET9 Tournament Feature Racing Bracket Goes Online

Hey guys, this is Harry aka the PM in charge of PLANET9's Tournament feature. This time I'm introducing our new Racing tournament format as the latest addition. We've come a long way from Single/Double elimination, Round-robin, Swiss, Free for All (FFA), to now having the Racing format. So let's have a look at it its specialties!

On top of the basic placement scoring, we've also added extra scoring options for tournament organizers to customize the scoring criteria. If you want to race like Initial D, just throw down a fancy drift battle; or you can also hold a coin collecting competition in Mario Kart. Overall, the racing format settings we offer greatly increase the diversity and fun of the competition.

And of course, we provide settings for proper e-racing tournaments. Just imagine yourself sitting on the seat inside a race car at a Formula-E race, and speeding on an avenue in Tokyo with Paris' romanticism in the atmosphere, Egypt's historical pyramids, and Panama's rainforest ou
