Market data analysis firm, Newzoo, has recently disclosed the top-grossing games and those with the highest user engagement for the month of May, with 'Fortnite' holding onto its crown.

This data encapsulates six key markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, and covers PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch games.

The top five games in terms of participation remained unchanged from April, with 'Fortnite' leading the pack, followed by 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' 2, 3 and Warzone 2.0, 'Minecraft', 'Roblox' and 'GTA5'.

Ubisoft's free shooting game 'Hyper Scape', which was officially rolled out on the 21st of May, experienced a significant boost in user engagement, springing from 33rd place to 6th.
